Buena Vista County Conservation Park
This park is just off the Glacial Trails Scenic Byway on 400th Street, 2 miles east of M-27 in the beautiful Little Sioux River Valley of Northwest Buena Vista County. Buena Vista Park offers multiple camping areas, Cabin and Lodge over-night rental facilities, day-use shelter, arboretum, prairie grass plantings, and miles of trails through woodland areas for visitors to explore.
A rustic oak log cabin is available for rent. Sleeps 10-12 people with a full kitchen, full bathroom, with a small living area. Can be rented for $125.00 a night plus tax.
The North Lodge was completed in 2020 and is available to rent. Sleeps 8-10 people, full kitchen, full bathroom, a large size living area with a TV and DVD player. Great for birthday parties, weddings, or just a weekend in the woods. Can be rented for $150.00 a night plus tax.
The South Shelter, which is located next to the Conservation Board Office, can be rented for $40.00 a day. It has a wide array of recreational activities and is a perfect place to host a birthday party, wedding, or family gatherings. The shelter is day-use only
Timber Ridge campground includes 23 sites with water, 20/30/50 AMPs electrical hook-ups and sewer. Modern restroom with showers and a dump station is available. Cost is $25.00 per night.
Bur Oak campground includes 12 sites with 20/30/50 AMPs electrical hook-ups and water at each site. Modern restroom with showers are available. Cost is $20.00 per night.
North and South primitive camping areas offer open shelters with picnic tables and firepits at each site. Cost $10.00 per night.
